• Al-Rashid Receives The Chairman Of The Administrative Courts

    Asharqia Chamber honored the late Sheikh Abdullah ibn Mohammed Al-Zubn, the former Chief of the Office of the Ombudsman in the Eastern Region in recognition of his outstanding service in the judicial sphere. During the meeting between Abdur-Rahman ibn Rashid Al-Rashid, the Chairman of the Board of the Chamber, and Sheikh Ibrahim ibn Sulaiman, the Chairman of the Administrative Courts,  the two sides discussed the significant role carried out by the Office of the Ombudsman in the eastern region. 

    Al-Rashid mentioned the many changes and improvements the Office of the Ombudsman in the Eastern Region has seen in recent years, alluding to the important role of Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Zubn (May Allah have Mercy upon him). 

    Al-Rashid expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by Sheikh Al-Zubn, characterized by his soft nature, his firmness in supporting the truth and the oppressed, and boundless concern for protecting the religion of Islam and Islamic law.

    Al-Rashid presented a commemorative plaque to Sheikh Ibrahim ibn Suleiman Al-Rashid, and to Ahmed ibn Muhammad Al-Zubn, the son of Sheikh Al-Zubn (May Allah have Mercy upon him).

    Sheikh Zubn was born in the city of Buraidah in 1365H. He memorized the Quran at an early age and studied at the Knowledge Institute in Buraidah. He graduated from the Faculty of Sharia and then the Higher Institute of Judiciary. He joined government service in 1388H. At that time he worked as a teacher and then became a judge in 1399H functioning as Adviser to the Office of the Ombudsman for the Eastern Region. Then he was appointed as Chief of the court. He was appointed as judge and special deputy assistant in 1426H where he remained until he died last January.
